Happy Eric Bana solving murders month to those who celebrate!
Force of Nature (The Dry 2) has hit cinemas and it does not disappoint.
The film, which is based on Jane Harper’s bestselling book of the same name and directed by Robert Connolly, follows Federal Police Detective Aaron Falk (Bana) as he investigates the disappearance of a Melbourne woman during a corporate retreat in the (fictional) Giralang mountain ranges in remote Victoria.
Like in The Dry, Falk is enmeshed in the case. The woman, Alice (Anna Torv), works for a businessman named Daniel Bailey (Richard Roxburgh) and is an informant gathering information for Falk’s investigation into Bailey’s business dealings.
The day before she departs for the retreat, Falk visits Alice at her daughter’s school and pressures her to gather more data for him and his partner Carmen (Jacqueline McKenzie).
