The new Asher Keddie series, plus two British murder mysteries.
What do you get when you combine Asher Keddie, David Wenham and a haunting true story exploring the dark side of modern dating?
Paramount+’s new psychological thriller, Fake.
In the six-part series, Keddie plays a Melbourne journalist named Birdie Bell who meets a man on a dating app named Joe. When they meet up for a drink, Birdie immediately has doubts about Joe.
But keen to show her family and friends that she’s moving on, Birdie lets Joe into her life. Soon, she finds herself slowly drawn into his web of lies, as she tries to figure out whether the man she’s dating is actually too good to be true.
A slow burn, Fake explores modern dating, love bombing, and the pressure society puts on women to find their happily ever after, whatever the cost.
