#9 Things I've been obsessed with this week.
The best book I've read this year, a murder mystery with a fun twist, and the theory that will change your life!
Hello!
Who gets to tell a story and what does justice even mean in the era of cancel culture?
These are the questions posed in Rebecca Makkai’s latest novel, I Have Some Questions For You.
The book follows 40-something Bodie Kane, a successful film professor and podcaster, who returns to her old New Hampshire boarding school to teach a short course on podcasting. While there, she finds herself drawn towards the 1995 murder of her former roommate, Thalia Keith. Soon, she must ask herself whether the right man was put behind bars and if she held the key to the case all along.
A literary mystery, I Have Some Questions For You is both a whodunnit and an exploration of the impact of our obsession with true crime and cancel culture.
