Nonnas, Poker Face season two and the return of The Group Chat.

If you’re yet to join the Poker Face party this is your sign to do so. The first three episodes of season two premiered on Stan in Australia this week and the list of guest stars and cameos so far include Cynthia Erivo playing quintuplets, Katie Holmes as the unsatisfied wife of a preacher, and John Mulaney taking on the role of a dodgy FBI agent.

The hit show is a ‘murder of the week’ series, where each episode Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne), an ex-casino employee who’s on the run from her former boss and who has the uncanny ability to tell when someone is lying, finds herself in the proximity of a murder and can’t help but solve it.

Poker Face was one of my favourite new series of 2023 and I’m so glad it’s back, bigger and better for season two.
