25 books to read in 2025.

This is going to be a great year for books!

There were so many times over the past couple of years during ‘The Great Burnout of 2023/2024’ (you can read more about that here) that I worried that I had lost my love for reading.

I couldn’t read at the pace I used to, I found it hard to follow some plots, and reading started to feel like a chore rather than a pleasure.

But I’m happy to report that I have my book reading groove back — and just in time for a bloody brilliant year of books!

This list is just a selection of the great titles coming out this year and I’ll definitely have to do a follow-up at some point, especially because two of my friends have books coming out this year but they haven’t made this list because they’re still in the process of finalising book covers and advanced readers copies etc etc.
