It’s my favourite time of the year ~ spooky season ~ which means a whole bunch of new horror films, thriller TV series, and true crime documentaries are being released over the next few weeks.

First off the bat is Totally Killer, Prime Video’s time-travelling slasher flick (yep, you read that right).

It’s 35 years since a masked serial killer murdered three 16-year-old girls in the sleepy town of Vernon and the ‘Sweet 16 Killer’ has returned to take one more victim. After 17-year-old Jamie (Mad Men’s Kiernan Shipka) comes face-to-face with the killer, she travels back to 1987 and teams up with her teenage mum to take him down once and for all.

It’s kind of like Scream meets The Breakfast Club.
