The first season of Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest dropped onto the streaming service last night.
The series is based on Michelle Buteau’s book of the same name and it stars Buteau as Mavis, a fledging stylist who has to start from scratch after she catches her boyfriend of five years cheating on her.
It’s kind of like Sex and the City meets Insecure.
